Ever since Lilly started preschool I have been trying to figure out a fun and easy way to display her art work. Then I remembered the roll of adhesive cork board that I had bought at Target a while back and got to work. I am super happy with the outcome! It is so rare that a project turns out the way I imagined.
pen. scissors. roll of adhesive cork board. frame.
1. After removing (and tossing) the glass, trace the back of the frame onto the cork boards backing then simply cut it out!
2. Peel off the paper covering the sticky back side of the cork board.
3. Carefully lay the cork board onto the inside of the back of the frame (so you can see it from the front) and press it into place.
Now you can use push pins to quickly display and change the art work those sweet little fingers make. Lilly loved seeing her projects on the wall. She was so proud.
Now I'm going to go buy a few (dozen) more rolls of that stuff and figure out what else to do with it! Happy crafting!

Great idea & super simple too, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Such a great way to use up some random frames. I have a few piled up myself. Thanks for sharing!
