being cute while taking up all of my time with her baby-ness. Geez!

Watching: I'm catching up on the last season of 30 Rock. I don't know how Ben and I got out of the habit of watching our favorite shows but we did. For a while I really didn't care about not watching TV but, truth be told, I love Liz Lemon and want to be her when I grow up. 

Listening to: Matt Chandlers sermons on the Village Church app. Ben asked me to sit and listen with him before bed and we have decided to make it a regular thing because we enjoy it so much. Matt Chandler is new to us (we have been watching another series of his in our church community group) and I really enjoy listening to him. He is funny, relevant and speaks the truth. I highly recommend it.

Thinking about: the future and parenthood. While Ben was at work the other night I was able to catch up on some blogs. I am not participating as actively in other blogs like I used to and I honestly miss it! I have made so many good friends and "met" so many great women. I have come to be more comfortable in my skin due to their encouragement and I simply do not have the time anymore. I spend from dusk to dawn every day caring for my girls, my husband, my home and myself. This past month and a half have been especially exhausting due to travel and sickness. But- I know how quickly things go. I can hardly believe Rosie is four months old and hello! that Lilly is three! I know that soon enough they will be playing together and I will be there simply to provide nourishment and break up fights.

Eating/Drinking: Hot chocolate and ice chips. Since we are in the middle of faux fall (a term coined by a friend) here I am drinking hot chocolate in a desperate attempt to experience something autumn-ish. But I still have my beloved ice chips handy because its hot.

Looking forward to: Halloween! Duh! There is a bag of yellow yarn hanging from one of my dinner table's chairs waiting to be made into a 'Punzel wig. I really really really hope it turns out. I am so excited about it. I am also looking for a suitible costume to have Rosie be Pascal and Ben will be Flynn Rider. And I know what you're wondering- is she going to be Mother Gothel?! Yes. Whatever, right?

Reading: my bible. Well- my bible app. I've just started the Battlefield of the Mind Devotional and am enjoying it so far. Do you use a bible app? At first I thought it was super weird but now I am way into it. 

Making me happy: Polly Pockets. I kept mine from when I was a girl and last week while rearranging some closets I found them! I immediately stopped being productive and started playing Polly Pockets with Lilly. She loves them and repeatedly hugged me and said "Thank you, mama" after I handed them all over to her. They are still in pretty good shape considering the oldest one is 22 years old. Yeah. Polly is old enough to drink. Which makes me feel old as dirt. But still happy!
