A few weeks ago we were "booed" by Amy and (after some serious slacking) I am finally passing it along. Another friend, who will remain nameless because I just mailed it off yesterday, will be receiving two little ghost plushies to spread the Halloween fun.
These little guys are so easy to make so I thought I'd share a quick how-to!
First you need to trace the ghost shape onto some felt. (You can download my "pattern" for free below) I used a vanishing pen because they are awesome and I am sloppy. Next I cut two tiny holes to push the safety eyes through and stitched on a mouth using a back stitch. Then I lined up the two parts and stitched them together using a blanket stitch. And don't forget to stuff it (I used poly-fil) before closing it up!
I made the little bows by tying some embroidery floss around the center of a rectangle and attached them with a hot glue gun.
See! Easy peasy and oh so cute. Felt plushies may be my new favorite craft. PS- you can download and use the below pattern for free! I know you are impressed with my amazing pattern making skills. How did I do it you ask?! Paper and a sharpie. Then I took a picture with my phone. ;)
Happy Crafting!
