I need some mom jeans- like yesterday. All of my pants hit me right where my cesarean scar is and its mad uncomfortable. Luckily, high waisted pants came back in style just in time. My 70's loving heart is happy. Here are some of my favorites- now if I could just find some monies laying around...
What do you think about high rise coming back? Love it or hate it?
♥

hate it! but that's probably only because i'm curvy and they'd look like hideous on me. you, on the other hand would look great! : )
ReplyDeleteI bet you would look great! I think high waisted are made for curvy girls. I think the stick thin models (like above) are strange looking in them.
DeleteNot the biggest fan. I don't mind the look so much and in fact I quite like it. For me it is a comfort thing, I almost feel claustrophobic when my pants hit me around the waist. Always have. Even as a kid I couldn't stand it when my mom made me where regular pants cause at that time (mid-eighties to nineties) that's all that was in style. I was the happiest girl when the lower rise came in.
ReplyDeletehaha! Nothing like a little parental forcing to ruin something for you. ;)
DeleteI think it looks great on the models...but I don't think I could pull it off!
ReplyDeleteI bet you could!
DeleteLove it.... Everything about it!!! Makes me want to sing and dance! Ha! lol
ReplyDeletethats why we are buds. <3

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to rock these kind of pants for a while. DO IT, BUY SOME SARA! (Also I misspelled in my last comment. Whoops!)
ReplyDeleteHigh waisted pants and I have a love/hate relationship. I'm not quite sure how to pull off wearing them and look cute and not frumpy. So they sit in the closet. And when I do finally wear them (when all other clothes are dirty) they get their revenge by making me look lumpy where no woman should be lumpy.
ReplyDeleteBuy some really cute ones and take pictures!!! Then I can see how I should be wearing them and pretend I'm actually fashion savvy. ;-)
