At first I was going to make a 27 before 27 list buuuttt I couldn't come up with more then 12 things. So 12 in 2012 it is!
Here is a little back ground on why I put some of these things on my list. I think any achievable list of goals must have a few easy things on it. Have baby? Already working on it. Re-watch Wes Anderson movies. I'd love to! (but not bottle rocket. I didn't like that one) Grow out my hair... that one may be harder then it seems. I also want to become less prissy and more self sufficient. Therefore numbers #'s 3, 5 and 10. I want to master some new recipes (as in make them easily, without messing them up) because I feel like I have been making the same 5 things for my entire married life. And I also threw in some fun yet challenging things like blankets (I am so not a long term project crafter). And watching the sun rise/set has always been something I have wanted to do- just not something I have ever done- and something that is so easily achieved in Florida!
I will keep you filled in on my progress as the year goes on. Have you made any goals for this year?
♥

I want to do 3 & 4 too!
ReplyDelete5 cracks me up. Probably because I've never seen that on anyone's list? But how rewarding to cook a meal from the very very start to end. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteI'm not making goals this year but I'd love to do your No. 1 as well!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGrowing hair out just takes foreeeever, huh? I'm not big with the long-term craft projects either. I'm all about instant gratification. I loved reading your list! It seems like an accomplishable one.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to you in the new year : )
What a great list! I only made 4 goals for the year.. haha so you're already in the lead!
ReplyDeleteOne of my goals was to run a semi-successful blog. We'll see how that goes!
I love these goals!
ReplyDeleteOh and your so lucky to live in Florida, where you are able to actually see beautiful sunset/sunrises on the same day :-) I miss doing that in hhighschool :-)
I have the granny blanket thing one of my personal goals....that or a baby blanket. But granny one is in my top 10.
Please do post about the recipes! I am dying to try new ones. Now that Scott can eat anything (he had a limited diet when we were married) I kinda want to just find some really good recipes :-)
Awh this is a lovely list! I'm really hoping for the new bubba one for you! :)
ReplyDeleteI so know you are just gonna smash these goals out of the water! I cant wait to see how beautiful this new bubba is gonna be too!
ReplyDeleteToni xo
Great goals! I have to agree with your take on Bottle Rocket, a little disappointing but I still love the Wes. Can not wait for this Moonrise Kingdom
